Your baby is growing
At 17 weeks, your baby bone turns to bone from the soft cartilage it was. The umbilical chord is getting stronger and more thicker. The weight of your baby is now 5 ounces and her length is just 5 inches long from head to toe. By now she can move her joints and the sweat glands start forming.
Your life at 17 weeks

Remember your stomach is growing larger. When this happens your centre of gravity changes making you a little unsteady now and then, on your feet. To ensure safety for your baby and you, wear low heeled shoes. While travelling, make sure your seat belt is on. There could be changes in your eyes too, which now feels drier. Over-the-counter lubricating drops will keep it in good shape. If you use contact lenses, wear them for a less amounts of time. If you feel uncomfortable, wear spectacles till you deliver your bundle of joy.
