Your baby is growing
Your baby has grown taller. At 17 inches, she is now the size of a pineapple and would weigh around 4 pounds. The wrinkled look is now fading away with the hardening of the skeletal structure. The skull bones are not fused at this stage, allowing the baby to pass through the birth passage with more ease. As these bones are not fused, the intense pressure on the baby’s head during the birth might result in the baby being born with a conical head. There is no need to worry, as it should return to normalcy as the baby grows after the birth.
Your life at 33 weeks
The baby has grown bigger in the tummy, and this will definitely change the way you walk. The movements will tend to be slower and you might find it a tad difficult to be comfortable in finding an easy position to sit or sleep. Don’t get annoyed over self if manoeuvring through the tables and chair make you look clumsier. Due to the changes in your body, your fingers, wrist and hand may start paining a bit. This is due to fluid retention. Do some stretching exercise of hands and wrist if your work demands frequent hand movements.
